5-Day Safari and 4-Day Zanzibar

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire

Your expert safari driver will pick you up from the hotel after breakfast and transfer you to Tarangire National Park for the animal sighting. Enjoy a relaxing 2-hour drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park. The park is rich with ancient giant baobab trees, also known as the ‘’Tree of Life’’, which cover most of the landscape of the park. After a full day of game drives, you will be transferred to your arranged hotel or lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Visit Manyara National Park

We will visit Lake Manyara National Park after your breakfast. Lake Manyara National Park is known for flocks of thousands of flamingos that feed along the edge of the lake in the wet season. Lake Manyara National Park is part of the Lake Manyara Biosphere Reserve. The highlights of the park are the thousands of pink flamingos, hot springs, elephants, and tree-climbing lions. After a full experience, you will be transferred to a hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Drive to Serengeti National Park

After an early morning breakfast, we will be heading to Serengeti National Park through the Ngorongoro conservation area. We will have some stops during the journey at some interesting scenic points for you to take pictures and get the full experience of Nature Travel Tanzania. After animal viewing in Serengeti, you will be transferred to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Full day of game drive in Serengeti

Your 5 days of nature travel in Tanzania and 4 days in Zanzibar will begin after your breakfast. You will spend the full day observing animals in the different parts of the Serengeti. It is the wildebeest migration for which Serengeti is perhaps most famous. Over a million wildebeests and about hundreds of zebras flow from the south, from the northern hills to the southern plains, during the short rainy season.

Day 5: Drive to the Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast at your lodge or camp, you will continue with game viewing as we drive to Ngorongoro Crater for wildlife spotting. You will experience Maasai tradition on the way to Ngorongoro Crater. The crater has a vast number of animals, including lions, zebras, elephants, and various resident animals. It is also a good spot to see the rare black rhino, and thereafter you will be transferred to the airport.

Day 6: Arrival in Zanzibar

You will be picked up from Zanzibar Airport by your designated transfer specialist and taken to your beautiful hotel for an overnight stay and dinner. That afternoon, your guide will meet you at your hotel foyer to discuss the various exciting activities that you can enjoy in Zanzibar.

Day 7. Beach time and free space

After a scrumptious breakfast, you can sit back, relax, and take in the sights and beauty of the pristine beaches of Zanzibar. You can look forward to a variety of international cuisine for lunch and dinner at your hotel, which is included in your package.

Day 8: Visit Spice Farm

After an enjoyable breakfast, you will be picked up at your hotel and taken by your Nature Travel Tanzania expert guide to the spice farm. You will be provided with detailed information about the various spices and the different organically grown herbs and spices that are traditionally utilized in cosmetics, medicine, and cooking. After the tour, you will be invited to a delicious lunch picnic overlooking a scenic forest, where you will have the opportunity to enjoy meals prepared with the same spices, herbs, and fruits that you experienced during the Spice Tour.

Your 4-day beach holiday in Zanzibar will take you on a scenic and memorable journey through the Jozani forest, where you will experience various animals, but more specifically the rare endemic Red Colobus monkey.

Day 9: Airport Transfer

On your last day of Zanzibar paradise, Your driver will pick you up from your hotel, and you can do some casual shopping for island mementos to take back home for loved ones as gifts. Thereafter, you will be transported to the Zanzibar Airport on time, where we will wish you a good voyage and happy onward travel, concluding your 9-day Tanzania safari and Zanzibar Beach tour that combines a 5-day safari in Tanzania with a 4-day Zanzibar beach holiday.
