5-Day Tanzania Lodge Safari  itinerary The tour begins and concludes in Arusha Town on a date of your choice. A 5-day lodge tour in Tanzania covers the major game parks of Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater. These are the major destinations with a large number of interesting animal and plant species.

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire

5-Day Tanzania Lodge Safari This morning you will travel to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is one of Tanzania’s largest national parks and sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an intriguing feature of the park. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a wide diversity of wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and up to six thousand elephants.

Day 2: Tarangire-Serengeti

This morning, you can enjoy a short game drive in Tarangire before driving to one of Africa’s most famous game parks, the Serengeti. During the migration, millions of wildebeest call this place home, and across the vast flat plains, you’re likely to encounter lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, and numerous other small predators. Day 3: Serengeti

Today you have a full day to explore the Serengeti. Divide the day into morning and afternoon game drives, or take a picnic lunch for a full-day game drive.

Day 4: Serengeti-Ngorongoro Crater

The Serengeti cats hide from the scorching sun, so we search early in the morning. After a few hours of game driving in the Serengeti, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and enjoy the landscapes.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

This morning you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a wonderful haven for wildlife. 5-Day Tanzania Lodge Safari  Ngorongoro is unique in that almost all of the wildlife lives within the crater walls; hence, you have the opportunity to easily find game. You can regularly spot rhinos, prides of lions, and other predators like cheetahs. Before starting your drive back to Arusha/Aiport, enjoy lunch by the hippopond.
