10-Day Serengeti Wildebeest Migration Safari package

Day 1: Arrival

The beginning of the 10-day Serengeti Wildebeest Migration Safari After a long flight from your home to Tanzania you will meet Nature Travel Tanzania Representative at the Airport you will only be transferred to your hotel in Arusha for dinner and overnight at the Lodge. If time permits, a complimentary town tour can be arranged.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park/Nature Walk

After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a nature walk on the periphery of the lake, guided by an armed ranger or guide. In the late afternoon, you will continue to Eileen’s Tree Inn for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Serengeti Central

After breakfast, drive to the Serengeti Heritage Camp for lunch, then continue with a game drive in central Serengeti National Park.

Day 4: Serengeti North

After breakfast, drive to North Serengeti with a picnic lunch, then continue with a game drive along the Mara River. The great migration will be along the Mara River, and this will be your opportunity to see them crossing the Mara River with crocodiles attacking them. Other animals include hippos, lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, and warthogs, and if you are lucky, you may see the endangered black rhino. In the late afternoon, you will continue to the Serengeti Heritage Mara River Camp.

Day 5: Serengeti North

Morning and afternoon game drives in the North Serengeti along the Mara River All meals and overnight at Serengeti Heritage Mara River Camp.

Day 6: Serengeti North

Morning and afternoon game drives in the North Serengeti along the Mara River All meals and overnight stays will be at the Serengeti Heritage Mara River Camp.

Day 7: Serengeti to Ngorongoro

After breakfast, you will do a game drive towards central Serengeti, then continue to Ngorongoro for dinner and overnight at the Rhino Lodge on the rim of the crater.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater/Tarangire

After breakfast, depart for a full day of game drives in the Ngorongoro crater with a picnic lunch. In the late afternoon, you will continue to Tarangire whistling thorn camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart for the Tarangire game drive with a picnic lunch. In the late afternoon, you will return to Tarangire Whistling Thorn Camp for dinner Overnight will be spent at the Lodge.

Day 10: Arusha/Departure

After breakfast, drive back to Arusha for lunch, then continue to the airport for your departure.
